Dark ruby color. The nose is aromatic, with scents of black and red berries mixed with flower aromas. This wine is rich, long and complex, and displays fruity flavours (cherries, blackberries, blackcurrants). The Pinot Noir Vin de France of Doudet-Naudin is a wine full of delicacy. Fresh and fruity, it is very pleasant, all in harmony. Doudet Naudin, Burgundy fine wines producer since 1849, makes the best use of its know-how to produce this great wine.
This wine accompanies with success many dishes, from the delicatessen, to all the white and red meats but also some cooked fishes and the cheeses.

Tasting Notes
With an intense rubi colour, this wine presents itself with a great concentration in the nose. Extremely rich aroma with predominance of red ripe frutis and some floral notes, well integrated with notes of spices coming from the ageing in French and American aok barrels. In the mouth it shows great complexity with notes of plums and blackberries. The finish is rich and elegant.

Organoleptic test:
The perfume is intense and persistent. One can recall in the nose clear sensations of fruit. For the taste, one immediately perceives the broad acidity and the spicy minerality, typical of a vine culitvated in Tufo. Immediately following, there are soft notes of balsamic.

Tasting notes
The single-vineyard Barolos are produced from the most painstaking selections carried out in vineyards which tradition has preserved over time as emblems of exemplary quality. “La Rosa” represents an interpretation of Barolo of particular importance: even though it is the soil and the sun – or what is called in short microclimate – which commands man and guides his technical decisions, and not vice versa. Garnet colour with intense ruby reflexes. The bouquet shows hints of very mature fruits and spices. In the mouth very ripe tannins give a sweet and persistent taste. “La Rosa” expresses the qualities of the Barolos grown in Serralunga d’Alba at their best, with a marked – almost feminine – concession to grace and softness in its flavour and bouquet.

Pairings
Ideal with big red meat dishes and medium or mature cheeses, it can also make for pleasant after-dinner company.

Rich and vibrant Brunello from Castelnuovo dell'Abate
Initially dominated by blueberries, then develops greater presence of red fruits, with violet and black cherry flavors rising on the long coffee and oaky finish.

VINIFICATION
Wine made from 10-15 year-old vineyards, located at an altitude of 450 metres above sea level and with soils characterised by clay and heavy stone. The climate is temperate Mediterranean but windy.
This Brunello di Montalcino is made with 100% Sangiovese Grosso and the fermentation is spontaneous and made in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. After the malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 2 year in 30 hl oak casks and released after 4 years after the harvest.

TASTING NOTES: Movement between balsamic,
grassy and notes of many different fruits. The
nose opens with notes of Mediterranean macchia
and aromas of seawrack piled on Sicilian beaches.
The red fruit is sour cherry bottled in spirit and
very ripe blackberry; the citrus fruit is bergamot
and bitter orange. The spices are carob flour and
incense.
On the palate the ripe fruit combines well with
the wood tannin in accompanying a very densely
textured tannin but open and measured to the
structure of this wine with its complex and
unmistakeable personality.
PAIRING: A vin de garde which is not afraid of
classic pairings. Red meat, though well matured
and marbled; still better with more intense
flavours like game, lamb and black pig or even

Le Petit Haut Lafitte 2016 is a deep, dark, intense red.
Still somewhat discreet, the nose reveals notes of black fruit and
dried grass. Upon aeration it becomes much more expressive
and complex, with notes of blackberry, blackcurrant, cigar
leaves, dried jalapenos, and cold smoke.
On the palate the 2016 is concentrated with the firm tannic
structure of Cabernet Sauvignon. Thanks to the Merlot, it is also
full, smooth and ample.
Le Petit Haut Lafitte delivers lovely structure, volume and
smoothness with a very long, fresh finish that recalls the same
aromatic palette as the nose, with notes of blackberry,
blackcurrant, tobacco leaves, star anise and flint.
Refined and elegant, Le Petit Haut Lafitte 2016 expresses the
characteristics of Cabernet grapes planted on gravelly soils.

Tasting Notes
Barbaresco 2019 is an intense garnet red color. Complex on the nose, it offers aromas of wild berries, spices and aromatic herbs. The palate is velvety, harmonious, and elegant with a lingering persistent finish.

TASTING NOTES
Deep carmine-red in colour. The nose is pronounced; aromas of ripe black fruit such as plum, blueberry, and blackberry predominate. There are also spice notes of black pepper and nutmeg. The 12 months in French oak barrels show themselves with aromas of toast, dark chocolate, and vanilla.
The palate is smooth, with great body and balance, dairy notes such as toffee and yoghurt, then
followed by a long finish.
Highly recommended with red meats, Mongolian beef, pork chops, spaghetti Bolognese,
lamb chops, or mushroom ravioli .

Intense and bright red in colour with violet tones and great depth. The wine's aromas are intense and unfold with the spice and floral notes very characteristic of the Uco Valley. They're joined by notes of black fruit such as blueberry and blackberry, typical of the variety. The wine has lots of structure, smooth tannins, and a long, fresh, and complex finish. The fruit notes reappear  on the palate, giving way to touches of rosemary, thyme, and dried flowers.

The nose is complex with varied aromas of ripe black and red fruits such as blackberries, figs, and plums in syrup. Spice notes of black and red pepper intermingle with a touch of fresh tobacco and leather.

This is a well-structured wine with good volume on the palate and smooth, round tannins that make this an ideal wine to enjoy now or over the course of the next 10 years.

With characteristic ruby-red colour and brightness, the wine has a nose that shows great
varietal typicity, delivering notes of fresh black and blue berries, intertwined with sweet spice

lightly-toasted French oak barrels adds notes of toffee, coconut, and caramelized sugar,
forming an important part of the aromatic complexity. The wine is smooth and balanced on

This lively freshness feeds into a bouquet of white flowers - orange blossom, lime flower and honeysuckle - punctuated by the aroma of fresh fruits like lime and white peach, delicately accompanied by notes of lightly toasted almonds. On the palate, the attack is full of energy, precise
and focussed. This rich, fruity and smooth sensation, with a hint of citrus, provides excellent balance between structure and finesse. Its almost chalky finish caresses the palate with a long and lingering saline tone.
It is the perfect confluence of terroir, year, climate and our House style.

Since forty years the special Prosecco di Valdobbiadene that Giuliano marked has had its own label and represents the quality of the best wines from the Bortolomiol winery.
TASTING NOTES
The bouquet is rich and enormously pleasurable. The fragrance is of a variety of mature fruit: an aroma of powdery yellow apple and pear stand out, while there are also gentle shades of citrus sweet, fine flowery hints. The creamily sparkling palette doesn’t disappoint as it’s well moulded into the sugar residue. Wonderful as an aperitif, this wine is intriguing with savoury dishes delicately combined with fruit.

This Cava is made mainly from the free-run juice of Macabeu, Xarello and Parellada grapes, harvested in our Espiells, Can Massana and La Cuscona estates.
It is an attractive, bright, pale gold cava. Its tiny abundant bubbles rise up forming a large number of streams and a stable crown.
Deep, intense and elegant, initially it evokes notes of ripe white fruit. Its complexity gradually increases and the aromas typical of long aging then appear. Hints of toast and a certain citrus background complete its distinguished aroma.
Its creamy mousse is perfectly integrated on the palate, making its texture in the mouth simultaneously fresh, rounded and evocative. All the aromas found in the glass are displayed in its long finish.

CHARACTER AND STYLE
The rich colour is characterised by a straw yellow “robe”. The powerful smell open on some yellow fruit and flowers: hawthorn, quince, together with nuts and almonds. Round and wealthy richness on the palate let the place on some spices showing the very ripped fruits of the year. The fine tannins continue to give to this bottle a concentrate, well-balanced and long taste.

This wine will accompany great dishes based on fishes, great shellfishes.

Golden pale and limpid colour with some light and green nuances. The mineral and delicate nose shows some nuances of white flowers. All the elements of a great white wine are here: Richness, delicate and very fine taste, mixed and ripened fruits, spice, very well dominated tannins.

CHARACTER AND STYLE
A brilliant white golden colour. The bottle shows an expressive bouquet (almond, honeysuckle and some light exotic fruits). Like the nose the tasting is really distinguished, fine and concentrate. The bottle explains the yellow and white fruit together with floral aromas (almonds, honey). The taste is frank and long on the palate. Very nice on the palate the wine shows its breed and light and nice spices at the end. The vanilla tannins accompany this wine of class.
This wine will accompany all the great cooks based on fishes, great shellfishes (Saint Jacques). Also some “cheese soufflé, calf sweet bread pastry. Then the fish will put up themselves well with the richness of the wine, friends also a fatted chicken with cream or morels.

CHARACTER AND STYLE
Golden and brilliant colour. The floral nose, with a light vanilla touch, opens on white flowers (hawthorn) and the apple when it is young. In the mouth, the wine is ample, powerful but well balanced with a real freshness and we guess a precise and elegant and impressive style. After few years, the ground and the richness will improve and the time will brings more length on the palate. The finish is characterised by some delicate tannins.

Meursault is undoubtedly the wine for fish. Its purity and its smoothness never betray the flesh of fish. From a roasted bass with a simple net of olive oil till traditional cooks with sauces. The age of the wine will allow the most judicious choice. We will not forget the poultry’s, the calf, the quenelles: the entire best cook!

Limpid and brilliant, the slightly tinted pale gold colour shows some green nuances.
The very clean nose reveals with elegance the richness of the ripped fruits (final with some citrus nuances), some almonds taste and a nice mineral unit. The mouth is well balanced with some freshness, the richness of the matter and the vivacity. If you add a nice persistence on the palate, you have in hand a charming and greedy wine.

Multiple agreements are possible with this Pouilly-Fuissé: From an elegant aperitif to a gastronomic accompaniment: it will be advised for all fishes (a salmon cooked with a sorrel sauce for example), cooked shells and shellfish, white meats and « fat chicken » prepared with cream and mushrooms for examples. The wine offers distinctive aromas of green apple, white pepper, hints of mango and delicate herbal notes, This Federspiel is a classic example of Grüner Veltliner with its medium-body crisp acidity, juicy fruits, and white spice on the finish. The name Federspiel is derived from falconry which was a very popular leisure time activity among the nobility in medieval times.
The falcon stands for the remarkable elegance of these dry white wines. Serve well chilled.

A great white wine comparable with great white wines of the world; this was the initial project. Thus began our experiments with Fiano during the 1990’s, a noble and ancient vine with origins in Campania. And thus Cometa began, the best expression in a unique and original way of the characteristics of this extraordinary vine. Intense and fruity aromas, its great structure and minerality today make it one of the most important white wines of southern Italy, cultivated according to the criteria of sustainability and organicity.
 Broom flowers and thyme, the delicate aromas of chamomile, hay, mango and pomelo. A mineral palate with vibrantly savoury traces which quiver and quench.
 The finish presents a silky tactile sensation with a refined aftertaste of ripe apricot, of almond flowers and basil flowers.

TASTING NOTES

This Gavi is most impressive on the palate, with a leisurely development and lively crispness that attest to its absolutely classic style.

The wine is very pleasant the spring after the harvest but is at its most enjoyable after a few months in the bottles. It can be kept in bottles for several years without suffering in quality.

The perfume is intense and persistent. One can recall in the nose clear sensations of fruit. For the taste, one immediately perceives the broad acidity and the spicy minerality, typical of a vine culitvated in Tufo. Immediately following, there are soft notes of balsamic.

Showing just a hint of reduction, this is a lovely Chardonnay that takes me back to the Burgundy 2018 en-primeur week in January. Côte de Beaune-like on the nose, with restrained notes of orange box and stoned fruits. This has great focus and grip on the palate and although there is plenty of weight and fleshiness, the prominent acidity keeps all the elements in perfect balance. Perhaps a bit more Corton-Charlemagne than Meursault, this is a very fine, top-class, Chardonnay.

citrus acidity bring balance. The compelling
finish encourages you to take another sip,
and then another. It also hints at the rewards
of keeping a bottle aside for a future special
event - if you can wait, that is.

Pale lemon gold at a glance, this is a gloriously fresh and pure style of Chenin Blanc. Upfront ripe, juicy peach and pear fruit aromas are balanced with notes of dried apricot and a lick of oak spice. The palate is youthful but wonderfully luscious, refreshed by mouth-watering acidity and a lingering fruit core finish that provides complexity and texture.

This delicious wine comes from dryland vines. The oldest parcel is 37 years of age. At one point, the vines were going to be uprooted. Luckily, we recognised their potential and resurrected the vineyard. That’s why I call it the ‘Lazarus’ vineyard - such vine maturity draws a beautiful and focused expression of terroir into the wine. It continues to reward us vintage after vintage.

TASTING NOTES
The 2021 Plenarius is copper-gold in colour with brilliant
amber edges.
Aromatically it is lifted, captivating and favourably
perplexing. There’s tinned apricot, marmalade, jasmine perfume as well as candied ginger and hints of lemongrass.
The aroma implies a sweet wine awaits, but the first sip jolts a clean dryness. An unctuous texture then develops giving a yin-yang of dry but pseudo-sweetness with ripe tropical fruits evident. This wine is rustic but simultaneously polished; grippy skin phenolics are offset beautifully by a glycerol richness and a fine natural acid line. Situated on the northern edge of the plateau of Pomerol, nestled between Château Gazin and Château La Fleur-Pétrus, this wine has been produced by Ets. Jean-Pierre Moueix since 1976. 

The vineyard (averaging 30 years of age), is planted on soils varying from gravel to clay to silt, allowing for a very elegant expression of Merlot.

The vineyard management and vinification are carried out traditionally and with great care, producing a plump, supple, fleshy wine with ripe fruit and silky tannins. 

Eminently approachable, even in its youth, Lafleur-Gazin is a delightful expression of the lighter style of Pomerol wines.

In 2016 Moulin Riche is absolutely gorgeous. Fresh, vibrant and full of energy, the 2016 is impressive today. The wine appears to have shed some baby fat and gained in aromatic complexity over the last two years. Sweet red-toned fruit, rose petal, mint and chalk lend understatement to the classy, mid-weight Saint-Julien. The 2011 has a ruby-red colour and a bouquet of fresh strawberries and mint. The first impression is quite remarkable. There are nuances of blackberry, blueberry, and vanilla on the palate, which are fairly long. Despite a high proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon, the wine expresses all the roundness of Merlot and has a delicious tannic texture. Softer than 2009 or 2010, it can be enjoyed as of now.

Château Laroze has been a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé since the first classification in 1955 and is the historic product of the property. The subtlety of its aromas derive from the main duo in its composition: Merlot and Cabernet Franc.

This combination is unusual in these proportions for a Saint-Emilion wine and produces an atypical yet appealing tasting experience:

A discrete, measured attack with recognisable Merlot flavours, then once on the palate, it grows into an aromatically intense, big-tasting wine as the Cabernet Franc kicks in.
A long, fresh, flavoursome finish resulting from the finely crafted blend of five varieties: Merlot (60%), Cabernet Franc (28%), Cabernet Sauvignon (8%), Malbec (1%) and Petit Verdot (3%).
Château Laroze is said to be a complex wine with many layers that is both sumptuous and subtle, and whose main characteristics are balance and harmony.

Les Griffons de Pichon Baron is one of the second wines of the property. Created since the 2012 vintage, it has a pure and direct character.
The grapes which make up this wine's blend come primarily from gravelly plots of land near to the Gironde estuary, a good environment for Cabernet-sauvignon.
Les Griffons offers a vigorous and fresh tasting experience, full-bodied and clean, overflowing with energy.
It can be laid down in the cellar for over 20 years or enjoyed right away.

Tasting note
The colour is dark; a deep red garnet. The nose is enhanced by fresh fruit, blackcurrant cream and blueberries with an elegant oaky note. The palate is soft and velvety with delicate, precise tannins. Carried by the great maturity that emanates from the quality of the fruit, the finish is delectable, elegant and distinguished. Overall it is opulent yet light.

The 2017 Virginie de Valandraud is deep garnet-purple in color and offers up aromas of crushed blackberries, warm black cherries and violets with scents of cedar chest and cinnamon stick. Medium to full-bodied with ripe, plush tannins and great freshness, it delivers a lovely core of pure black fruit and a floral finish.

Le Petit Haut Lafitte 2016 is a deep, dark, intense red. Still somewhat discreet, the nose reveals notes of black fruit and dried grass. Upon aeration it becomes much more expressive and complex, with notes of blackberry, blackcurrant, cigar leaves, dried jalapenos, and cold smoke.
On the palate the 2016 is concentrated with the firm tannic structure of Cabernet Sauvignon. Thanks to the Merlot, it is also full, smooth and ample.
Le Petit Haut Lafitte delivers lovely structure, volume and smoothness with a very long, fresh finish that recalls the same aromatic palette as the nose, with notes of blackberry, blackcurrant, tobacco leaves, star anise and flint.
Refined and elegant, Le Petit Haut Lafitte 2016 expresses the characteristics of Cabernet grapes planted on gravelly soils.

VINIFICATION
Wine made from 10-15 year-old vineyards, located at an altitude of 450 metres above sea level and with soils characterised by clay and heavy stone. The climate is temperate Mediterranean but windy.
This Brunello di Montalcino is made with 100% Sangiovese Grosso and the fermentation is spontaneous and made in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. After the malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 2 year in 30 hl oak casks and released after 4 years after the harvest.

TASTING NOTES: Movement between balsamic,
grassy and notes of many different fruits. The
nose opens with notes of Mediterranean macchia
and aromas of seawrack piled on Sicilian beaches.
The red fruit is sour cherry bottled in spirit and
very ripe blackberry; the citrus fruit is bergamot
and bitter orange. The spices are carob flour and
incense.
On the palate the ripe fruit combines well with
the wood tannin in accompanying a very densely
textured tannin but open and measured to the
structure of this wine with its complex and
unmistakeable personality.
PAIRING: A vin de garde which is not afraid of
classic pairings. Red meat, though well matured
and marbled; still better with more intense
flavours like game, lamb and black pig or even
sliced sausage.

Tasting Notes
With an intense rubi colour, this wine presents itself with a great concentration in the nose. Extremely rich aroma with predominance of red ripe frutis and some floral notes, well integrated with notes of spices coming from the ageing in French and American aok barrels. In the mouth it shows great complexity with notes of plums and blackberries. The finish is rich and elegant.

Oak Aging:
24 months in new French oak barrels.
The 2014 yields were lower than the historic average and the berries were smaller than usual.
The grapes presented excellent concentration, good natural acidity, and ripe phenolics in the
 red varieties.
Montes Folly is an intense ruby red in color, and the very elegant nose offers aromas of blueberries
and blackcurrants with light notes of chocolate and subtle toast. Robust and well balanced on
the palate with smooth tannins and a long and pleasing finish.
Montes Folly has consistently been recognized as one of Chile’s best Syrahs.

hint of wet earth; there's also some dairy-like toffee and dulce de leche. On the palate the wine is balanced,
with extremely silky tannins; broad in body, with well-harmonized acidity and flavours that reflect the
aromas on the nose, all leading to a long, fruit-forward, and vibrant finish.

Elegant on the nose, with aromas of ripe red and black berries over a background of sweet notes. Being stored in French oak barrels adds aromas of dark chocolate, coffee which go with the typical fruity aromas of this variety. Well structured on the palate, with smooth and full tannins.

TASTING NOTES

The nose is complex with varied aromas of ripe black and red fruits such as blackberries, figs, and plums in syrup. Spice notes of black and red pepper intermingle with a touch of fresh tobacco and leather.

This is a well-structured wine with good volume on the palate and smooth, round tannins that make this an ideal wine to enjoy now or over the course of the next 10 years.

TASTING NOTES
With characteristic ruby-red colour and brightness, the wine has a nose that shows great
varietal typicity, delivering notes of fresh black and blue berries, intertwined with sweet spice
such as nutmeg and cinnamon, and subtle floral aromas of violet. Its time spent in
lightly-toasted French oak barrels adds notes of toffee, coconut, and caramelized sugar,
forming an important part of the aromatic complexity. The wine is smooth and balanced on
the palate, with medium body and a long, pleasing finish.

Intense and bright red in colour with violet tones and great depth. The wine's aromas are intense and unfold with the spice and floral notes very characteristic of the Uco Valley. They're joined by notes of black fruit such as blueberry and blackberry, typical of the variety. The wine has lots of structure, smooth tannins, and a long, fresh, and complex finish. The fruit notes reappear  on the palate, giving way to touches of rosemary, thyme, and dried flowers.

The Wine
The 2016 Yarden Petit Verdot exhibits ripe red and black fruit notes, along with characters of spice, flowers, tobacco, chocolate and French oak. This flavorful and full-bodied wine displays a bit of tannic structure, which is typical to the variety.

While enjoyable now, the 2016 Yarden Petit Verdot should improve in the bottle for a number of years, and stay in excellent drinking condition for years to come. We love pairing the wine with rich meat dishes such as tender osso buco or slow-cooked lamb spareribs, or an assortment of aged and smoked cheeses.
